What is a pour-over will?

A pour-over will is one that is typically one that is coordinated with living trust planning. It derives its name Pour-Over from the fact that it has literally one beneficiary, and that beneficiary is the living trust. So upon death, literally what happens is that any assets that are in the probate estate get poured into the living trust upon the completion of the administration of the estate.
