Offshore planning is the process of organizing your affairs so that your activities are conducted in entities that are located outside the United States. We place those activities outside the United States so that they are not necessarily subject to the jurisdiction of U.S. courts, and in doing so it makes it more difficult for a creditor to make claims against the assets that are involved with those activities.
